Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 is an American Actress. Following her film debut during 1983's Bad Boys she became known as a member of the Brat Pack of actors. She also appeared on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy's is both an American actor and a writer. Her film career began at the beginning of the 1980s when she appeared in the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she received a lot of praise. Rick Rosenthal was the director of the film in which other actors were also prominent such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her role was featured on screen in The Breakfast Club in 1985 the comedy which followed her first success. John Hughes directed one of greatest films for high schools. Even though it had the budget of 1 million dollars, the film's earnings exceeded $50 Million. When she was working on this, her debut on television was made with CBS Schoolbreak. This show aimed at teenagers and started in April 1980. She also appeared on other shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. The most recent of her roles is in Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story featuring a female superhero in which she has a cameo. Sheedy has been awarded numerous times for her stellar performances among them the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
