Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born on the 9th August, 1976. Audrey was the eldest child in a family of four. Audrey Tautou's parents, who are a dental doctor and a school teacher helped and encouraged her early love for drama as well as theatre. Her initial dream to become a master monkey was eclipsed by her wish to study theater and drama. The rise was swift in her career to become an internationally renowned young actress. Her career began in earnest in 1999, the year she first began performing professionally. In the years following her studies, Tautou participated in the French talent scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. Tautou, who attended her school at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris as a child and studied there at the age of a child, has disavowed her Catholic education. The actress claims to be a non-Catholic. Along with her acting career, she pursued a modelling career. It is her turn to be the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. She is a keen photographer and created a show in The Arles International Festival entitled Superficial. The focus of her photography is celebrity, fame and the media who scrutinized her following her rise to fame with Amelie. Additionally, there are several photographs that show her self. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and global fame after her debut role in the role of Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a global success on the screen and also won numerous awards across the world. The film is still the highest-grossing French language movie on the market in US. The film's success led to a huge increase in production. Tautou went on to star in many films including British dramatics, such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. Tautou also appeared alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
