Jennifer Lopez was born in 1969 into a family of Puerto Rican descent. Lopez received dance instruction throughout her growing years. The year 1986 saw her make her debut on the film circuit with the small part of My Little Girl. In 1991, she was first seen on television by appearing as a dancer in In Living Color. Lopez appeared as a confused police officer in Shades of Blue, a police procedural (2016-2018). Second Act (2018) saw Lopez play a comical character as a woman who has acquaintances help her land a desirable position in an NYC-based company.
